Acorn Squash

Add extra veggies to your basket! These dinner vegetables will last on your countertop. So fun as a decoration, fun to prepare and eat!

Artichokes

Approx 24 count

 

We call it crocodile skin at our house! Go simple and delicious just steaming or get crazy and finish on the grill. Ah-mazing! You can also prepare them boiled or stuffed; use the hearts in stews, frittatas, pastas, casseroles, dips or sauces; or go decadent and pan fry! Have these on the table in under 30 mintues total time if you use a stovetop or electric pressure cooker! Dip in garlic/butter, mayo/mustard/garlic, balsamic vinegar/olive oil/garlic, mayo/hot sauce, or whatever is your pleasure!
Try Steamed Artichokes, an easy and delicious way to prepare them!

Brussels Sprouts

So excited about this long time favorite of mine showing up as a featured item! Whether you serve them boiled, or steamed or roasted with onions and bacon like yours truly, these are a for sure pleaser!

 

Try Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Feta or Brussels Sprouts with Onion, and & Figs for easy and delicious side dishes!

Collard Greens
Approx 24 bunches

 

These dark leafy greeens are similar to kale. Collards are enjoyed cooked and often paired with smoked and salted meats and strong seasonings like onion, vinegar, pepper.

Pineapple
Approx 7/8 count

 

Delicious sliced fresh and in smoothies, add to jams, and bottle chunks! Freezes beautifully for future smoothies or later processing. We make smoothie kits with our favorite fruit and veggie combos for dump, blend, and run mornings! Juice some up with oranges or mango for a super special and delicious breakfast beverage. Have you tried dehydrated pineapple? So easy and delicious! A perfect summer-y, sweet, and healthy snack at home or on the go.

My kids love Virgin Pina Coladas as a special treat, and they’re pros at making them – even my 8yo! Into the blender goes chunks of pineapple, coconut milk, and just a squeeze of lime. Add ice to make it a frozen dessert – No sugar or dairy required!

You must open & quality inspect your Add-On Items before you leave your pickup site. Once you have signed for your items and left, we cannot offer a credit for quality issues.
