Broccoli Crowns
Approx 20 Lb


Perfect finger-food snacks for lunch! Great to par boil and freeze! Make last-minute dinners easy. I soak in salt water, cut into consistent size, then rinse well. Blanche, plunge immediately into ice water to cool, and freeze in freezer bags. If you have an electric pressure cooker, prep the same way, put in steamer basket, add 1 cup water, and set on high/manual for 0 (zero!) minutes and carefully and immediately vent and remove from cooker. Perfect, hands-free steamed broccoli! We love simply steamed broccoli!


A delicious way to warm up your kitchen is Pan-Roasted Broccoli with Romano!

Clementine Tangerines

These are a great balance of sweet and tart and very juicy! Easy peeling and perfect for lunchboxes and snacks. An easy bump to our Vitamin C intake during cold season! Refrigerate to hold ripeness level.


This Irrisistible Mandarin Broccoli Salad is a delicious side dish to lunch and supper!


Approx 24 bunches


Make kale chips (a family favorite!); braised kalekale salad; juice it or put it in smoothies, egg scrambles, pasta(!), and soups and stews; and on pizza! This superfood veggie is so versatile and so good for you. My current daily breakfast: fresh kale, sweet potato (cubed, roasted, and frozen), chopped garlic, olive oil in a pan; top with a fried egg, homemade sriracha, and crumbled bacon or sausage if there’s any languishing in the fridge! It is an amazing start to my day!


Too much kale to use in a week? Solution: FREEZE it! Short term storage, up to about 6 weeks: 
For smoothies, wash and throw leaves in a freezer back with your “smoothie kit” loves. Pull out and throw in the blender with your liquid of choice and enjoy.
For adding to cooked dishes, soups, stews, etc., chop and freeze or blend with a little water and freeze in ice cube trays for perfect portions


Long term storage, up to a year:
Blanche and freeze! For just leaves, 2 to 2-1/2 minutes. For stems, about 3 minutes. Then into ice water to cool. Hand dry (I roll in a clean and lint-free towel), and quick-freeze on a cookie sheet before moving into freezer bags. Do whole leaves or chopped, single layers or kale clumps, your choice! Add amount desired to your recipes.


Sausage, Kale, and White Bean Pasta is a hearty, delicious, easy supper.

Nectarines can be used as a substitute for peaches in recipes, and have twice the vitamin A and more vitamin C and potassium than that more popular cousin! They freeze and bottle beautifully, too! We love them just fresh or alongside a fun snack platter: sheep’s cheese, figs, almonds, cherries, apricots, berries, and sweet citrus (with the first three is my absolute favorite!). You can grill or poach them, too – and, of course, make jam or jelly, syrup, compote. Infuse summertime drinks, add to smoothies, popsicles, sorbets, cobblers, top desserts, ice cream, yogurt, and granola. Wonderful!

This maple syrup is a delicious addition to your morning meals! We love the darker, richer, more intense flavor of this highly unprocessed, Grade B maple syrup for tabletop use, for cooking/baking, and sweetening all of the things!

It is imperative that you are at your pickup location within your twenty minute window

You must open & quality inspect your Add-On Items before you leave your pickup site. Once you have signed for your items and left, we cannot offer a credit for quality issues.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants MUST have their Contribution Confirmations PRINTED or DIGITALLY, in their entirety, when picking up items. Please bring a complete paper or digital copy (e.g., via smart phone, tablet, camera) of your Contribution Confirmation to your site each time you participate.
